I am officially a NaNoWriMo 2011 participant- alert the press

Despite my extremely lackluster performance as a 2009 National Novel Writing Month participant, I am giving it another shot.  This November, I will try to complete a first draft of my (totally stalled) work in progress, The Guardians of Ben Q. Flanders

I am pretty excited and hope, hope, hope that I can stick to it.

P.S.- Look who is rockin' 50 followers!  Huge shout out to number 50 the very cool E.R. King!!  I would whistle if I could.  I'll settle for a woooo hooo.

  1. How about a WOOO PIG SUEY, instead of wooo hooo. I'm pretty good at it.

I am going to do Nanorevimo. Peggy is hosting it. You commit to doing revisions instead of a new WIP.

I am totally rooting for you, cause I want to read Ben Q!!

  2. You know, the last time I did a NaNoWriMo, instead of writing that novel I'd been thinking of, I wrote a chapter of my dissertation, three short stories, a term paper, and finished the paper for publication that was my Masters. So, not really a success as far as the whole writing a novel thing, but I really used procrastination to my advantage.

This year, I'm not even trying, but I might go check out this NaNoReviMo...

I love to get comments! Please keep them PG as I am writing for kids and young adults and hope some of them will find their way here.
